Tips For Writing a Problem-Solution Analysis

Tips For Writing a Problem-Solution AnalysisBrainstorming should be the last step of the process of writing a problem-solution analysis. A lot of people think that brainstorming is simply taking all your ideas and putting them into a pile, maybe throwing them on the floor and calling it brainstorming. This is a common misconception. Your ideas will make up the backbone of the process of writing a problem-solution analysis. The first thing you should do when you are brainstorming is to get out your whiteboard and chalkboard. On your whiteboard, draw several different representations of your problems to be solved. The problems you write down should be based upon the components of your work. Problems include, time management, financial planning, organization, communication, productivity, budget, etc. When you have your representations of problems, write down the details of each problem and write down the desired solution. Then divide the brainstorming session into two parts: the first par t of the brainstorming is to decide whether to have a meeting or a phone call and determine the method you would like to use to reach your problem-solution analysis. If you would like to do a phone call, take a formal conversation plan; if you would like to have a meeting, get your notes and the written representation of your problems and solve them through a problem-solution analysis. It is important to hold both brainstorming sessions so that you can talk with a coworker or manager and learn what they think about the problem-solution analysis. Ask their opinion and any suggestions they may have regarding the problem-solution analysis. The second part of brainstorming is the brainstorming session. You can use a computer or a pencil and paper. You can use them for brainstorming for as long as you like but remember that this is just one aspect of writing problem-solution analysis.During the brainstorming session, you need to focus on your problems and determine if there is a way to mak e a solution or not. The way you think about your problems is how you will get results from them and determine what you need to do to make a solution.Lastly, make sure you write down the solutions to your problems, but don't make it a habit to write down every single thing you have done to solve the problem. Use writing the solutions to an easier task.If you don't know how to write a problem-solution analysis, find a good book and learn how to do it. Once you start, it will become second nature to you will have less problems and more solutions.
